Your main responsibilities

Together with the team, you’ll be responsible for providing IT support. In this role, you’ll ensure that IT-related issues raised by colleagues are handled correctly. A satisfied colleague, that’s what you’re working toward! After a short and focused onboarding program, you’ll quickly acquire the necessary know-how and get to work with our great team.

Specifically, these are your main responsibilities:

  • Serving as a 2nd-line troubleshooter for our colleagues in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium

  • Setting up the online, digital, and physical work environments for (new) colleagues

  • Managing and maintaining our IT environment

  • Working on projects related to our IT environment

  • Managing, keeping up to date, and upgrading our systems, such as Microsoft Windows Servers, the Microsoft Active Directory environment, Microsoft Online Services, Hyper-V, RDS, Fortigate firewalls, Aruba switches, HPE servers, and other IT-related software and hardware.

Your profile

You are proactive and have a hands-on mindset. In addition, you don’t hesitate to take on work if it means supporting your colleagues. You enjoy learning new skills and are able to see the bigger picture. You are customer-focused and get a sense of fulfillment from solving IT challenges. In addition to more complex IT issues, you are also willing to handle day-to-day management tasks.

You also have:

  • HBO-level work and thinking skills

  • At least 10 years of work experience

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 11, Windows Server, and Microsoft Cloud/Azure/Entra/Microsoft 365

  • Knowledge of SQL, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and PowerShell

  • Good basic knowledge of switches, firewalls, and networks

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, VEEAM, and NinjaOne is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in Dutch and English

  • Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.

In addition, you are available to work 40 hours per week and are willing to travel to other locations as needed.
