After intensive preparations since September 2023, we held four constructive meetings within Arcus involving all departments. Through a thorough double materiality analysis, we determined which themes we want to focus on, identified the relevant stakeholders, and defined the necessary actions. We are now moving forward with developing policy, setting up a clear reporting framework, and collecting data on specific KPI’s. This is a crucial phase in our pursuit of sustainability and social responsibility.

Climate Change
At Arcus Group, we are committed to addressing climate change through a comprehensive transition plan aligned with the Paris Agreement and the European Climate Law. Our initiatives focus on enhancing the sustainability of our lease car fleet, improving energy efficiency in buildings, optimizing resource use and circularity, streamlining transport capabilities, and reducing emissions from purchased goods. These efforts are integral to our strategy to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 and support the global transition to a sustainable economy.
Circularity & waste
Our goal is to contribute to a circular economy without waste by 2050. Stainless steel, as a durable and sustainable material, plays a key role with its long lifecycle. Besides stainless steel, we realize that we can make an impact by actively taking measures to make our packaging material more sustainable. We are at the forefront of the waste hierarchy, prioritizing prevention, preparing for re-use and recycling. We do this by reducing waste, conserving resources and ensuring high-value re-use.
