The history of Arcus
On October 28, 1963, Mr. M. Johnen opened the doors of Arcus.
Arcus started in a small garage in Berzdorf, Germany, and quickly expanded to larger warehouses as demand grew. Over the decades, the company has grown across Europe, establishing locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, and Switzerland.
Today, Arcus operates 14 locations with 225 employees, a total warehouse space of 52,400m², nearly 10,000 tons of stock, and a revenue of €180 million. From its early days selling welded pipes, Arcus now offers a comprehensive range of welded and seamless pipes, flanges, fittings, and industrial components, alongside unique value-added services such as machining and pickling.
As a stable family-owned business, Arcus combines European reach with long-term relationships, a strong global reputation, and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
