Purchasing Specialist (M/F/D)

At Arcus Deutschland we are looking for a new colleague.

Will you join our Purchase department in Germany?

You are:

A careful and reliable team player who enjoys working independently and stays organized even when things get busy. You like structured tasks, take responsibility for your work, and communicate confidently with colleagues across departments and with external partners.

You have:

  • a commercial or technical vocational training / a comparable qualification, ideally supplemented by experience or further training in purchasing;

  • experience in purchasing consumer goods or a strong interest in developing your skills in this area;

  • Knowledge of technical or industrial products is an advantage, but what matters most to us is your willingness to learn the technical aspects of the role;

  • You work in a structured and analytical manner and enjoy taking on responsibility;

  • You are motivated by interacting with suppliers in Asia and Europe, as well as by close collaboration within the purchasing team and with internal departments;

  • You communicate confidently in German and English; additional languages are welcome.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the strategic and operational procurement of multiple product groups;

  • Development and implementation of procurement strategies in close collaboration with the procurement teams in Germany, the Netherlands, and France, as well as the CPO

  • Ensuring optimal and timely product availability at competitive terms;

  • Conducting price and contract negotiations with suppliers in Europe and Asia;

  • Market and price analyses, as well as providing market and supplier information to the sales departments;

  • Performance management of the supplier portfolio, as well as continuous and collaborative development of suppliers;

  • Management of inventory levels for your own product groups in coordination with Sales and Supply Chain Management.
