Your challenge

  • Systematically review customer inquiry packages including specifications, LoA, technical attachments, packing/marking instructions, documentation requirements and commercial conditions before quotation.

  • Translate customer project requirements into clear supplier requirements and ensure proper back-to-back coverage with suppliers and manufacturers.

  • Identify, document and commercially evaluate deviations, clarifications, options and requirements exceeding supplier standard.

  • Ensure availability and compliance of project documentation, including material test certificates, inspection documents, certificates of origin, manufacturing location, sub-vendor information and document registers.

  • Secure project-related compliance requirements such as country of origin, HS codes, export/import data, sanctions screening and CBAM-relevant information where applicable.

  • Support Sales during the quotation phase as a commercial and technical procurement risk gate before final offer submission.

Your profile

  • You have a strong background in technical project procurement, supplier negotiations and contract management. You are experienced in reviewing technical specifications, drawings, project documentation, material certificates, inspection requirements and customer-specific procurement conditions.

  • Experience in piping, stainless steel, metals, EPC, plant engineering, construction, energy, chemical or industrial project business is highly preferred.

  • Solid understanding of material certificates, certificates of origin, inspection documentation and supplier documentation workflows.

  • Ability to identify commercial and contractual risk in project inquiries, including penalties, warranty obligations, documentation requirements, Incoterms, packing/marking, inspection costs and back-to-back supplier obligations.

  • Strong capability to work at the interface of Sales, Procurement, Quality, Logistics and Finance during quotation and project execution.

  • Full professional proficiency in German.
