Here’s what you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll be responsible for both strategic and operational procurement across multiple product categories. You’ll work closely with international procurement teams and ensure that products are available on time and under the best terms. You’ll negotiate with suppliers in Europe and Asia and visit them regularly to strengthen relationships and capitalize on opportunities. You’ll also actively manage and develop your supplier relationships and continuously work to improve performance. You also maintain control over inventory within your categories, in close collaboration with sales and operations, ensuring everything aligns seamlessly.
What you will be doing
You are responsible for the strategic and operational procurement of multiple categories/products.
You contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies in close collaboration with the procurement teams in Germany, the Netherlands, and France.
You ensure optimal and timely product availability under competitive terms.
You negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers in Europe and Asia and maintain these relationships through regular visits.
You conduct market and price analysis and share relevant information about the market and suppliers with our sales teams.
You maintain and develop supplier relationships, with a focus on performance improvement and collaboration.
You are responsible for inventory management within your categories, in close coordination with sales and operational management.

What you bring
A bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, or a comparable level of education, supplemented by experience and training in procurement, such as Nevi.
Experience in purchasing commercial or industrial products.
Knowledge of technical or industrial products is a plus.
A structured and analytical approach to work.
Excellent communication skills to establish and maintain contact with suppliers in Asia and Europe, and you have a good command of Dutch and English.
